Ten Commandments to Our Volunteers

 

1. We will challenge you by delegating tasks, increasing your share of workload and providing upward mobility.

2. We will recognize your talents and put them to work attacking problems within DACOA.

3. We will vary your tasks, rotate jobs, change responsibilities.

4. We will consult volunteers on important decisions and policy making directions including goals, projects, special events, new ideas and suggestions.

5. We will endeavor to brighten your day.

6. We will praise frequently.

7. We will train you so you fell confident at your tasks and can perform them to the best of your ability.

8. We will communicate by way of memos and E mail.

9. We will make volunteers feel they are part of a family.

10. We will recognize volunteers with an annual recognition event.
