PROGRAMS

Children, teens, incarcerated adults and seniors can all benefit from a DACOA program tailored just for them.

Kids Have Feelings - A prevention/intervention substance abuse program for children ages 3-6 to help them understand their feelings and build resiliency.

Children Are People Too! - An elementary school and community program for children ages 5-12. The program helps children cope with chemical dependency in their family.

It's Your Move - An adolescent curriculum that provides practical techniques that youth can apply to every day situations dealing with anger and peer pressure.

 

Senior Summit - A program for older alcoholics and their care givers addressing issues of anxiety, boundaries, stress, and depression. The program provides techniques for effective management of late life changes.

 

 

 

Inside Out - A personal growth curriculum used in correctional institutions. The program helps participants identify their feelings and encourages positive behavioral changes.

the Delaware Department of Education.
These programs provide students with vital
information about substance abuse, peer pressure,
media influence, self-esteem, safe people and
the importance of appropriate boundaries.
